Uniform Matters

Find out what your child should wear to MOE Kindergarten, including uniform rules, footwear guidelines, and where to buy uniforms.

All children attending MOE Kindergarten are required to wear their kindergarten uniforms daily, unless otherwise specified (e.g., for certain festivals and celebrations, the kindergarten will notify parents about alternative attire arrangements in advance).

Children are to wear the prescribed kindergarten uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed.

We recommend that each child has at least three sets of uniform.

Shoes & Socks

Your child should wear socks and well-fitted shoes for safety during activities. The following guidelines should be observed:

  • Children should wear closed-toe shoes, suitable for outdoor play;

  • Flip-flops and other open-toe/heel shoes are not allowed; and

  • Socks should have non-slip soles.

Hair

Your child's hair must be well-kept and tidy.

Jewellery

For safety reasons, we discourage children from wearing accessories or jewellery to the kindergarten.
